Handling fertilizer just got easier with the Goscor Liquid Fertilizer Pump

Agricultural equipment supplier Goscor Power Products hopes to increase the flow of profits for farmers around the country with the addition of a purpose designed and built liquid fertilizer pump (LFP) to its range of agricultural products.

The new pump allows farmers to transfer liquid fertilizers from bulk tankers to their own nurse tanks and from there to tractor tanks quickly, efficiently and with a minimum of waste.

“It is essential that the transfer process is completed as rapidly as possible to prevent the product from drying and becoming expensive waste,” says Goscor Power Products’ (GPP) national sales manager Mark Bester.

Because liquid fertilizers are highly corrosive, the pump is made of corrosion-resistant material. The Goscor LFP is made of a thermoplastic compound which is totally corrosion-proof while all components and fasteners are made of high grade stainless steel which is immune to corrosion. “In addition, the impellor is an open vane design to enable the pump to handle the liquid fertilizer without clogging,” adds Bester.

“The new product is powered by a 5HP Robin-Subaru engine which has a two year warranty. It is connected to the pump by an expertly designed spacer to prevent any leakage or corrosion. Likewise, all seals on this product are made from a specially formulated EPDM material to handle the composition of the fertilizer.”

The complete pump and engine are enclosed in a protective role-over frame to reduce the risk of accidental damage.

This new product is backed by the knowledge and experience Goscor has accumulated over its 25-years of service to South African industry and agriculture. A nationwide network of dealers ensures quick and efficient service and parts supply, as well as expert technical advice on tap.
