Goscor’s light, powerful and professionally designed high-pressure Fire Fighter range has placed itself in the forefront when a rapid response method of dealing with a fire is needed.

The lightweight range is designed to suit half- and three quarter-ton bakkies. It has found favour in all aspects of veld management, especially among farming communities, including game farms.

The purpose-designed range has a number of key features. These include:
• A fire-engine red polypropylene tank with black lining to restrict algae growth;
• A Ruby pump with stainless steel plungers rated at 40 – 50 bar to deliver up to 50 ℓ/minute;
• A 5 HP Robin-Subaru petrol-powered engine backed by a 2 year warranty;
• A rubber fire-resistant hose with a standard length of 20 m and rated at 180 bar
• High grade stainless steel components for effective corrosion resistance.

“With the winter months approaching and the grass reaching unprecedented heights in the rest of the country due to the very good rains, farmers, game farms and co-ops would be well advised to be prepared with a rapid response solution to the likely outbreak of grass fires,” says Bester.

“The beauty of the Fire Fighter range is that it need not stand idle during the low fire risk months,” continues Bester. “It provides an efficient and capable all-round service to a wide number of users as it is designed to handle a range of chemical products, including fertilizers, dips and crop protection sprays. Being a high-pressure machine, it is also capable of cleaning farm and industrial equipment such as tractors, dairies and cement mixers.”

Goscor Power Products has a number of optional configurations available such as double hose reels, varying size tanks, trailer-mounted units and stand-alone units mounted in a protective role-over frame for those who have their own tanks. Bespoke orders for specialised units can be handled by the company.
